Summer Excursion
May 2025
Please note that these outings are restricted to RHS members only.
This year the members’ annual outing will be based in Dublin with day excursions to various sites in the Boyne Valley. Because of the limited availability of speakers, two of the excursions will occur in advance of the main weekend (May 17th – 18th). This is the proposed schedule of trips (which may change slightly):

Medieval Churches of Dublin
22nd March 2025

A walk to see a number of the medieval churches of central Dublin has been arranged for 22nd March. It will be led by Stuart Kinsella and the cost will be €10 per head.
The walk is limited to 20 so early booking via this link is essential.
Maynooth College Visit
12th September 2024
Please note that this outing is restricted to RHS members only.
A visit to Maynooth College has been arranged for 12th September 2024. The Rev. John-Paul Sheridan will give us a guided tour of the Pugin buildings, the historic Russel Library and the beautiful Chapel and will give an overview of the history of the college.
The meeting point is just inside the main gate of the college at 11am on Thursday, 12th September 2024. The visit is limited to 25 members so early booking via this link is essential.
